THANK YOU for making the jump.

And now to our regularly scheduled post …
- Blackberry is a Canadian invention/product/lifesaver/curse but they often don’t give 2 peanut butter sandwiches about Canadians. I understand that their largest user base is most likely in the US but that doesn’t mean that us (or some Canadians) should be left out of their latest offerings. The people at RIM/Blackberry are sponsoring John Mayer’s summer tour. However there are no dates for Canada and there are no Canadian musicians. As Mr. Seinfeld would say “What’s the deal with that …” I could write a really crappy review of the 8800 but I don’t think that will do anything.
- I was talking in a group of more than 2 people yesterday about this great deal I have. I have this deal with a telephone company to test out cellphones for a month. I don’t get charged for airtime or data. I was just realizing that with this great deal, I should charge people to take advantage of such a service. I could help out an underground terrorist cell. Or I could help out a drug dealer. Or gun runners. Hell, I could make crank calls to deliver pizza to the White House. But then I thought about it and remembered that it would all get traced back to me. I’d have to get compensated quite well to follow through with that plan.
- Fedora 7 is here. Sometime over the next few weeks or months I’m going to upgrade this server to Fedora 7. Isn’t that super amazingly fantastic? Or incredibly lame? Yeah, it’s lame.
- Thornhill Phil scored me some tickets to the Argos pre-season opener on Saturday. Normally I would rather pull out my finger nails but I’m going to write about the experience for my cultural class assignment. I don’t think my brilliant prof will accept it but I’m not adverse to doing something else like writing up on Luminato or something.
- Oh yeah, and a well-deserved congrats to the Ottawa Senators for making it so far in the playoffs. But the hats go off to the Mighty Ducks for winning the Big Gulp.

First, those guys at RIM can rub salt. You know other companies offer similar product and many still think Palm was first to market with their device.
I mean if they have to sponsor a concert tour, do it in the US or Europe. Canada is a nice little pleasant country where they might sell around 60-70 blackberry’s, whereas in the US about 7 million. It’s about numbers dude.
Argos exhibition game uh ?? Bet that was action packed. Did Joe Theismann Jr score ?

The exhibition game didn’t become good until halftime when they brought out 4 local elementary school football teams. The Renegades, Bandits, Desperadoes and Rebels battled it out for … something, pride maybe. They even had cheerleaders (The Outlaws) that had to cheer for every team.
